<p>A sealant composition, especially for use in waste dump surface sealing systems, consists of recycled mineral materials mixed with small quantities of mineral binders. Preferably, the recycled material consists of crushed brick, optionally together with fine sand, and has a particle size distribution and particle size class composition providing minimal interspaces between its particles. The residual interspaces are preferably filled with the mineral binder which comprises clay minerals, part of which may consist of bentonite.</p> |
