<p>Comminution and homogenisation unit prepares bio-wastes. Its homogenisation tools have the construction of screws (12) with interchangeable, circumferential cutters. Each screw is part-surrounded by a trough (14). In this design, those surfaces of the trough facing the screws have a replaceable cladding (16) of wear-resistant material fixed to them.</p>
