PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reliably a door from opening in a door locking device that prevents a door from opening during an earthquake. SOLUTION: This locking device is equipped with a body case 16, a rising and sinking locking body 25 that usually projects out from the body case 16 and sinks into the body case in accordance with the movement of an engaging device 15 based on the normal opening and closing of a door 12, permitting the door to open and close, a moving body 28 that operates and locks the locking body 25 into a projected state, butts engagedly the locking body 25 against the engagement device 15 of the door that is beginning to open, stopping the opening of the door, and a plurality of the moving bodies 28 are provided so that one of them may operate to lock the locking body 25 in a projected state in response to vibration that may occur when an earthquake occurs. Therefore, when an earthquake occurs, a moving body 28 corresponding to the direction of vibration moves and locks the locking body 25, preventing the door 12 from opening by reliable locking.
