PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device such as a partition body capable of being mounted in so called a single operation without requiring tool. SOLUTION: These supporting devices 15 are adequate for disposing the partition body 17 on a top plate 11, and are provided mountably to two back legs 12 of four legs 12 disposed at four corners on the lower surface side of the top plate 11. Each supporting device 15 comprises a body 20 having an inserting part 27 inserted into a hole 18 formed in the upper part of each leg 12 and a holding part 25 provided for the body 20 via a connecting member 22. The holding part 25 includes a cylindrical part 30 having a hole 29 for opening its upper end, and right and left standing frames 40 and 40 constituting the partition body 17 are engaged with holes 29 to mount the partition body 17 on the top plate 11.
