TEMPORARY PROMOTER FOR WET PAPER STRENGTH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a temporary promoter for increasing the strength of wet paper having an excellent wet paper strength just after contacting with water even though containing no aldehyde and capable of imparting characteristics to loosen paper by rapid decrease of the paper strength. SOLUTION: This temporary promoter for increasing the strength of wet paper contains an anionic high polymer and a cationic high polymer and at least one polymer out of the anionic high polymer and the cationic high polymer is a polymer containing >=6C monomer units.
