PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of simplifying mechanism and control. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an image carrier body, an electrostatic latent image forming means for forming an electrostatic latent image corresponding to an image signal on the image carrier body, a developing means for forming a visible image by developing the electrostatic latent image and a post processing means which is connected with an image forming device obtaining a prescribed image by transferring and fixing the visible image on paper and performs a post processing for paper having images formed. The post processing means is provided with a function for performing a staple processing for paper and determining a position for performing a staple processing for paper by designating the direction of paper and a function for selecting paper stored in the designated direction and feeding paper. A carrier means for carrying paper up to a position for performing the staple processing for paper by an image direction formed on paper is installed. |
