<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single layer type electrophotographic photoreceptor which generates fewer black spots in a formed image and excels in sensitivity characteristics even when the photoreceptor is used for a long time or the photoreceptor drum is rotated at a high speed, and also to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: The single layer type electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer containing a binder resin, a hole transporting agent, and a charge generating agent, wherein the photoreceptor contains a water-repellent polycarbonate resin as the binder resin, and the contact angle of pure water with respect to the photoreceptor layer is specified to 100° or more at a measured temperature 25°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
