CONTROL METHOD OF BLDC MOTORS

A control method of BLDC(BrushLess Direct Current) motors is provided to perform regular speed control and linear acceleration due to change of a load by differently controlling excitation and generating state of each phase through calculation of current and the number of rotations in the BLDC motor. A control method of BLDC motors includes the steps of: driving initially the BLDC motor(202); checking whether a driving current measured during the driving of the BLDC motor is below a current limit(206); comparing a driving rotation number with an optimal rotation number when the driving current is below the current limit(212); driving the BLDC motor by increasing a power off section in the border where polarity varies when the driving rotation number exceeds the optimal rotation number(220); and driving the BLDC motor by decreasing the power off section in the border where the polarity varies when the driving rotation number is below the optimal rotation number(220).
