An image processing apparatus is provided to perform three-dimensional measurement by an apparatus or a method which is highly compatible with conventional two-dimensional image processing so that a user can easily use a three-dimensional measurement function. An image processing apparatus comprises the followings: a sequence setting unit(204,205) which sets a sequence of a processing item; and a sequence executing unit(206) which executes the set sequence. The sequence setting unit(204,205) provides a plurality of items of two-dimensional image processing and at least one item of three-dimensional measurement processing as the processing item which can be set at a sequence element by selection of a user. The provided items of the two-dimensional image processing include at least one item of an on-first-image location specification processing of specifying a location on an object in the first image. |
