A wireless audio transmission system, a receiver, a video camera, and an audio mixer are provided to confirm usable frequencies under good operability in setting up a frequency to be used by a wireless microphone as an audio signal for audio recording is inputted from a wireless microphone. A wireless microphone receiver is mounted at a slot installed at the back of a VTR-combined video camera(2). An interviewer uses a wireless microphone transmitter(3). An audio signal, transmitted to the wireless microphone receiver from the wireless microphone transmitter(3), is inputted to the VTR-combined video camera(2). The audio signal is recorded together with a video signal photographed through the VTR-combined video camera(2). The wireless microphone receiver detects frequencies that other microphones or other devices on an identical coverage spot do not use. Usable frequency information, the data of the detected frequencies, is inputted to the VTR-combined video camera(2). The VTR-combined video camera(2) displays this usable frequency information through a view finder(4). Information about a frequency selected among the usable frequencies is sent to the wireless microphone transmitter(3). |
