APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING CAUSE OF DROPED CALL IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK

A call drop cause analysis device in a wireless mobile communication environment and a method thereof are provided to analyze a cause of call drop by using transmitted/received CAI(Common Air Interface) messages during a handoff process between a terminal and a base station, thereby reducing analysis time of the cause of the call drop. A message extractor(120) extracts a message used for analysis by inputting messages. An analyzer(140) decides on a cause of call drop by substituting a value and a parameter included in the extracted message for each of predetermined conditions which become the cause of the call drop. A cause matter display unit(160) displays a cause matter in accordance with the decided results in text type.
