<p>A discharge air control device of the side discharge type air conditioner is provided to evenly cool indoor space in rapid speed by swinging left and right blades arranged in side discharge holes for predetermined time during initial operation. A discharge air control device of a side discharge type air conditioner having side discharge holes(14,16,18) on both side surfaces of a main body(10) includes left and right blades(14a,16a,18a), step motors(14b,16b,18b) and a controller. The left and right blades are installed in the side discharge holes, and control direction of discharged wind. The step motors rotate the left and right blades. The controller controls the step motors so as to swing the left and right blades for predetermined time during initial operation.</p> |
