<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a cable structured so that a flat cable can be securely connected to it, although it is simply structured, since an actuator can be easily operated to change its posture to a second position, the actuator is surely locked, and its posture is not unnecessarily changed from the second position. <P>SOLUTION: This connector for the cable has a housing equipped with an insertion hole to insert a flat cable, an actuator equipped with portions to be locked which are disposed on both sides of a body part, and locking portions disposed on both sides of the housing to get engaged with the portions to be locked at the second position. The tip fringe part of the portion to be locked becomes parallel with the inserting and extracting direction of the flat cable at the second position, and the tip fringe part of the locking part is inclined from the inserting and extracting direction of the flat cable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
