The holder (18) has pressure surfaces (34, 36) placed at sides (28, 30) of a telescope-like adjustable base part (20), where the sides are turned to each other. The holder is designed in such a manner that a luggage piece (14) is pressurized against a pair of walls (12.1, 12.2) limiting a luggage compartment (10) by the pressure surfaces under pre-loading. A spring element (26) is provided in the base part for producing the pre-loading between two adjacent telescopic sections (22, 24) of the base part.
