A bumper restoration method is provided to easily finish a boundary line between an existing paint film and a new paint film by coating a blending agent composed of a thinner and a resin curing agent. A bumper restoration method includes the steps of: primarily sanding a damaged part of a bumper with a #80 sandpaper(S1); selecting a hard or soft plastic bar suitable for material of the bumper, melting the plastic bar with a hot gun, and welding the melted plastic bar on the damaged part of the bumper(S2); secondarily sanding the welded part with a #80 to #320 sandpaper(S3); coating a color putty on the welded part to flatten the welded part and improve adhesive strength(S4); coating a paint wider than the color putty coated part(S5); coating a transparent coating agent wider than the paint coated part(S6); coating a blending agent on a boundary part between an existing paint film and the newly coated paint to smoothly connect the newly coated paint and the existing paint film(S7); drying the blending agent coated part for three to seven minutes by using a dryer(S8); removing foreign materials from the coated part with a #1500 sandpaper(S9); and polishing the coated part by using a polisher(S10). |
