<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the illegal copy of a privilege (coupon) by preventing the illegal usage of the privilege to be added to the user of a system for providing merchandise information. <P>SOLUTION: A merchandise information management server 10 receives retrieval request information, retrieves merchandise information and advertisement information by using a presented in-store code, determines a point value, based on the retrieved advertisement, so as to add the point value, and then, provides a retrieval result picture including the merchandise information and advertisement information. The server 10 receives a coupon issuing request, determines coupon identification codes corresponding to the added point value, determines the number of coupons to be issued depending on the number of codes which indicate the number of coupon identification codes to be associated with the coupon, and transmits coupon issue direction information. The server 10 receives an analysis request which presents the coupon identification codes, determines whether to authenticate the presented coupon identification codes with reference to the coupon management information, and transmits a determination result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
