<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stock certificate computerization system reading a stock certificate, automatically recognizing a registered stockholder, an issue name or the like to efficiently perform computerization of the stock certificate, and acquiring an account number of the stockholder and a new company name of an amalgamated company to allow easy warehousing processing of the stock certificate. <P>SOLUTION: This stock certificate computerization system has a stock certificate computerization part 101 for computerizing the stock certificate. The stock certificate computerization part 101 has: a means for character-recognizing image data of the stock certificate read by an image scanner 108 by OCR (Optical Character Recognition), and acquiring at least a company name, a stock certificate number and a stockholder name; a means for searching a customer database 102 based on the stockholder name, and acquiring a department/store number and the account number; a means for searching a company information database 103 based on the company name to perform a presence check of a company; a means acquiring the corresponding new company name of an amalgamated company database 105 based on the company name when the company name is absent; and a means or the like registering acquired information into a warehousing stock certificate management database 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
