<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress corrosion of the internal face of a cooling medium circulation path for an engine for cooling the engine in a hybrid car. <P>SOLUTION: When a circulating pump 32 which is driven by a motor 33 for circulating pump and circulates a cooling medium in the engine 20, is stopped for a predetermined time or more, the engine 20 is not started, but the motor 33 for circulating pump is started for a short period of time, and the circulating pump 32 is started, and the cooling medium in a cooling medium path 201 for the engine is made to flow.
