<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which can easily be manufactured even if the number of poles in a brushless DC motor increases, and whose manufacture cost is suppressed and to provide a washer dryer and a brushless DC motor drive circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The drum-type washing machine 100 includes a rotary drum 11 which stores and rotates the laundry 9, and washes, rinses and dehydrates the laundry 9, the brushless DC motor 19 which directly drives the rotary drum 11, and a rotator position sensor 45 detecting the position of a rotator of the brushless DC motor 19. The machine also includes an inverter circuit which rotates the brushless DC motor 19 at constant speed and interrupts power supply at the time of setting, measures an error between a phase of induced voltage of respective phases of the brushless DC motor 19 and the phase of the rotator position sensor 45 of the respective phases, converts the error into an electrical angle so as to store it, corrects the phase of the rotator position sensor 45 based on the error and drives the brushless DC motor 19 based on the corrected phase of the rotator position sensor 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
