<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a manual feed tray from contacting with a mounting face or prevent a manual feed sheet on the manual feed tray from dropping when a cover member is opened while the manual feed tray is opened, in a printer and a copying machine. <P>SOLUTION: In the cover member 3, its oscillation center 76 is supported to be capable of oscillating by an image forming device body 2, and takes a closing position of an upright posture and an opening position A2 of a tilted posture. In a manual feed tray 13, its oscillation center 13c is supported to be capable of oscillating by the cover member 3, and takes a storage position where the tray is stored in the cover member 3 and a paper feed position of a tilted posture. The lower end side of the front face 2a of the image forming device body 2 is directly connected with the lower end side of the manual feed tray 13 by a connecting member 80, so that the manual tray 13 is prevented from being opened at an angle not smaller than a tolerable opening angle α4 (for example, not larger than 90 degrees). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
