<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric for clothes which has high contact cool feeling and sweat absorption, suppresses tackiness in profuse sweating and excellent in comfortability, and to provide clothing using the fabric. <P>SOLUTION: The fabric for clothes is a knitted fabric or a woven fabric of a single layer or a multiple layers, the rear surface is formed of filaments to which false twisting is mainly applied, and formed of hydrophilic synthetic fiber yarns having false-twist crimp of ≥7.0% and ≤10.0%.
