摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array photodetector having high light reception efficiency even for light which has narrow pitch intervals and is obliquely incident, and a light converging method. SOLUTION: The array photodetector includes: a first light converging means; a second light converging means for receiving light converged by the first light converging means; and a light reception portion receiving the light converged by the second light converging means, wherein the first light converging means has a spherical surface shape, and the second light converging means has a high-refractive-index portion and a low-refractive-index portion, the high-refractive-index portion being in a columnar shape or polygonal pillar shape.
