PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector that enables a movement of a movable member from a side close to a terminal and the terminal to a distant side to be easily controlled so as to enable free insertion and extraction of the terminal.SOLUTION: An electric connector comprises: a housing, a conductive member which is electrically connected to an opposite terminal inserted into the housing, a movable member which can move to and away from the opposite terminal, and a slide member which shifts in position relative to the movable member. The movable member is moved to a close side and engages the opposite terminal inserted into the housing to prevent the opposite terminal from being extracted, and also moved to a distant side and disengaged from the opposite terminal inserted into the housing to allow the opposite terminal to be extracted. Movements of the movable member to the close side and distant side are controlled according to the position of the slide member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
