The present invention relates to a method for sharing a music file, which comprises the steps of: receiving a music file of a first encoding format, which is added to a first user device, and user information from the first user device, by a transceiving unit of a server; storing the received music file in a memory unit, by a music management unit of the server; controlling an encoding processing unit of the server to encode the received music file in a second encoding format and storing the music file of the second encoding format in the memory unit, by the music management unit; and transmitting the music file of the first encoding format or the music file of the second encoding format to a second user device matched with the user information through the transceiving unit, by the music management unit. The method of the present invention can allow a user to conveniently use music, which is stored in one user device, in another user device and can minimize data traffic in sharing the music file. |
