The present invention provides a large awning structure which performs a function of an awning on a wide area by being installed as a large size in a field and is especially used in a desert. The large awning structure includes: multiple pillars installed on the ground; and an awning unit installed at a predetermined height from the ground as an upper edge part of the pillars is connected. The awning unit also includes: an awning layer formed of a fabric material shading sunlight; a support member having a mesh in which multiple wires are arranged in a lattice form and a support wire fixing the outer circumference of the mesh and forming a frame unit, wherein the awning layer is supported and fixed to the surface of the support member; and a connection member connecting an edge part of the support member and an upper end of the pillar. |
