PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a high pressure tank, capable of reducing cost and weight, while suppressing gaps generating among overlaps of fiber bundles in a helical layer molding.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a high pressure tank includes the steps of: helically winding fiber bundles impregnated with a thermosetting resin around a tank body; and applying heat-hardening on the thermosetting resin. In the heat-hardening step, the thermosetting resin is heated so as to include a gelation time in which viscosity of the thermosetting resin is lowered by heating the thermosetting resin, and in which the thermosetting resin is gelatinized in such a manner to fill gaps among fiber bundles with the thermosetting resin contained in the fiber bundles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
