PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which realizes a high-quality image without white stripes or a rough feeling even at a low resolution when actual printing paper, e.g. art paper, is used and suppresses occurrence of curling even when thin actual printing paper of a small basis weight is used.SOLUTION: An ink composition for inkjet recording comprises a colorant, water, an alcohol solvent and a surfactant, and the alcohol solvent includes a slightly water-soluble alkanediol, a water soluble 1,2-alkanediol and a water soluble symmetric both-terminal alkanediol. |
