摘要 Disclosed is a sludge drying apparatus which can restore energy from excessive steam generated in a process of drying sludge and use the energy, thereby reducing excessive energy consumption and improving energy efficiency. According to an embodiment, provided is a sludge drying apparatus, comprising: a primary drying part which receives sludge, has a primary sludge transfer means configured to transfer the received sludge, and dries the sludge being transferred along the primary sludge transfer means by moving hot air therein; a secondary drying part which receives the sludge primarily dried by the primary drying part, has a secondary sludge transfer means configured to transfer the received sludge, and dries the sludge by moving excessively heated stream therein; and a heat exchange part which receives excessive steam, discharged from the secondary drying part, and external air, and enables heat exchange to be performed between the received excessive steam and the received external air, wherein the external air received by the heat exchange part is heated by the excessive steam and converted into hot air, and the hot air is fed into the primary drying part and dries the sludge inside the primary drying part.
