The present invention relates to a smart medicine box which issues an alarm for a time to take medicine and can intelligently manage whether the medicine has been taken based on whether a door has been opened or closed or whether the medicine has been taken out, and also relates to a system and method for directly managing administration of medicine using the smart medicine box. The system comprises: a smart medicine box which accommodates medicine to be taken, and detects whether a user has taken the accommodated medicine; a user terminal which is connected to the smart medicine box via short-distance wireless communication, sets an administration schedule including times, days of the week, and the number of times for administration of the medicine accommodated in the smart medicine box, issues an alarm based on the set administration schedule, and receives a signal indicative of the detection of whether the user has taken the medicine from the smart medicine box; and an administration management server which receives information about the smart medicine box and the administration schedule from the user terminal, registers the information and the administration schedule, checks for an administration state based on the signal indicative of the detection of whether the user has taken the medicine and received from the user terminal, and manages history of administration. |
