Disclosed is an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus. The ultrasound diagnosis apparatus comprises a probe which transmits plane waves to steering angles, and a control part which determines the plane waves to allow the grating lobe of a combined transmission beam pattern by the plane waves to locate outside a region of interest. As such, a quality of an image of an ultrasound image is able to be improved.
