The present invention provides a modified conjugated diene polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 20 × 104 to 300 × 104 inclusive, wherein a modified conjugated diene polymer as mentioned above which has a molecular weight of 200 × 104 to 500 × 104 inclusive is contained in an amount of 0.25 to 30% by mass inclusive relative to the total amount of the modified conjugated diene polymer and the shrinkage factor (g') of the modified conjugated diene polymer is less than 0.64.
