PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evacuation building capable of being used as an emergency evacuation destination when a tsunami or a flood occurs and maintaining a function of a building body by reliably preventing the same from being destroyed or inundated.SOLUTION: An evacuation building A to be used as an evacuation destination when a tsunami or a flood occurs comprises: an external peripheral pressure resistant wall 1 which extends in an entire circumferential direction, has a height higher than a maximum water level preliminarily set against the tsunami or the flood and is provided with pressure resistance performance to resist water pressure and an impact due to a floating object; and a building body 2 which is constructed inside the external peripheral pressure resistant wall 1 and is provided with a lifeline function. The external peripheral pressure resistant wall 1 has parapet sections 6 which are outwardly projected from an outer face thereof and extended along the entire circumferential direction. |
