<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing fine inorganic particles (of, e.g., a metal oxide) capable of having controlled particle morphology such as a particle diameter and a particle shape, excellent dispersibility because of the freeness from agglomerates, particle uniformity, and high crystallinity with high mass productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the fine inorganic particles is a method for producing the particles by a continuous hydrothermal reaction process comprising mixing a liquid in which an inorganic substance is dissolved or suspended with an aqueous alkali solution to prepare a reaction precursor containing an aqueous inorganic alkali salt solution or slurry and subjecting the entire mixture to a hydrothermal reaction after making uniform the concentration of the reaction precursor in the liquid phase under pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
