PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplant apparatus and a transplant method which can prevent damage from occurring on plants.SOLUTION: A transplant apparatus that transplants plants between a plurality of culture medium plates on which a plurality of plants arrayed in parallel are raised comprises a transplant mechanism which takes out plants from an edge part side of the culture medium plate of a transplant source, starts transplant from the central part of the culture medium plate of a transplant destination, and performs transplant sequentially to an edge part side. Damage of plants can be avoided by performing transplant in the above-described constitution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 |
