摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas fuel combustion control system capable of improving combustion efficiency of gas fuel supplied to an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 31 which supplies a combustion chamber 130 of a gas engine 11 with methane gas is installed close to an ignition plug 16. A first air intake pipe which supplies the gas engine 11 with air generates a swirl flow in the combustion chamber 130. A second air intake pipe 42 which supplies the gas engine 11 with the air generates a tumble flow in the combustion chamber 130. When the air supplied to the combustion chamber 130 is compressed, the fuel injection valve 31 injects the methane gas to the vicinity of the ignition plug 16 on the basis of a methane gas injection period and an injection start time calculated by an ECU 50. Thus, a gas fuel combustion control system can generate: an air-fuel mixture layer containing the methane gas and the air with a high methane gas content in the vicinity of the ignition plug 16 of the combustion chamber 130; and the air-fuel mixture layer containing the methane gas and the air with a high air content in the vicinity of an inner wall 137 of a cylinder block 13.
