<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium which has favorable light resistance, gas resistance and uniform ink absorbency. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording medium comprising a support and an ink accepting layer provided at least on one side of the support, the inkjet recording medium is characterized by including a compound represented by a general formula (1).
