<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, light-weight and inexpensive power generating apparatus generating power which copes with the vibration of a plurality of different directions. <P>SOLUTION: In the power generating apparatus 100, one end side of a titanium sheet base material 10 is bent into a hook shape. Piezoelectric sheets 20 sequentially laminating piezoelectric films 15 formed of PZT and metal electrodes 16 for extracting electrical energy are formed on both faces of the titanium sheet base material 10. The other end side of the piezoelectric sheet 20 is cantilever-supported. A spherical weight 30 is loaded on the piezoelectric sheet 20 so that it can tumble. Thus, a horizontal part 21 of the piezoelectric sheet 20 can generate power due to vibrations in a substantially perpendicular direction (Z-axis direction). A vertical part 22, bent like the hook, is bent by the vibrations in a front-back direction (X-axis direction) and collisions of the spherical weight 30 in a substantially horizontal direction, thereby generating power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
