1. A relay device configured to communicate with a communication management system through a network, the relay device comprising:
a memory that stores relay device identification information identifying the relay device; a transmitter that transmits the relay device identification information obtained from the memory to the communication management system using a first communications protocol, in response to a configuration data request received from a communication terminal using the first communications protocol; and a receiver that receives configuration data associated with the relay device identification information from the communication management system, wherein the transmitter further transmits the configuration data received from the communication management system to the communication terminal as a response to the configuration data request using the first communications protocol, the configuration data allowing the communication terminal to communicate using a second communications protocol.
