PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately suppress power consumption during operation of an imaging device.SOLUTION: In a digital camera 10 including an imaging part 62 that can capture an operator of the camera on the back side of the camera, when self-timer photography is set and the face of the operator of the camera is not detected during time counting before an imaging operation, an LCD 60 is turned off.
