PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boat motor controller, control method, and control program that are capable of appropriately controlling an acceleration characteristic according to a request from a boat user.SOLUTION: A boat motor controller according to an embodiment comprises: a data acquisition unit for acquiring instruction amount data showing information on an operation instruction amount and running data showing information on a running state of a boat; a characteristic data creation unit for creating characteristic data including characteristic information on a boat body and a propeller, on the basis of the running data and setting data including attribute information on the boat body and the propeller; and a torque control unit for creating an output torque instruction for a motor of the boat by correcting an input torque instruction corresponding to the instruction amount data on the basis of the characteristic data and difference acceleration between target acceleration identified from motion curve data showing information on a motion curve of the boat and actual acceleration identified from the running data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
