PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor that demonstrates a high level of reliability as a whole if a main sensor breaks down due to a large environmental load applied on the magnetic sensor.SOLUTION: The magnetic sensor includes a first magnetic sensor element and a second magnetic sensor element different in type from the first magnetic sensor element. The first and second magnetic sensor elements have the same measurement target space region, the first magnetic sensor element exhibits a higher performance than the second magnetic sensor element does with respect to the first characteristic, and the second magnetic sensor element exhibits a higher performance than the first magnetic sensor element does with respect to the second characteristic different from the first characteristic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
