<p>PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic head device where an azimuth non-adjustment range when mounting a magnetic recorder is extended. CONSTITUTION:A height limitation surface 65a for limiting the move in width direction of a magnetic tape 42 is provided at a tape guide 66 or a mounting plate 6 and control means 62g and 62h for constantly pressing the side edge of the magnetic tape 42 when the magnetic tape is running are provided asymmetrically at a magnetic tape introduction side tape guide 66 and a magnetic tape out side tape guide 66, thus reducing the difference in magnetic recording signal reproduction output according to the azimuth deviation direction when mounting a magnetic recorder and extending the azimuth non-adjustment range when mounting the magnetic recorder.</p> |
