摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode for fuel cell capable of obtaining a fuel cell of high output. <P>SOLUTION: The cathode 3 for fuel cell includes a supported catalyst containing a conductive supported material and catalyst particulates supported by the conductive supported material; a proton-conductive inorganic oxide, containing an oxide carrier and oxide particulates supported by the surface of the oxide carrier; and an electrode catalyst layer 7, containing a proton-conductive organic polymer binder. The supported catalyst is blended by weight W<SB>C</SB>. The proton conductive inorganic oxide has a silicon oxide supported by the surface by weight of 0.1-0.5 times its weight and is formulated by weight of W<SB>SA+SiO2</SB>; the weight ratio (W<SB>SA+SiO2</SB>/W<SB>C</SB>) is 0.01 to 0.25; and the proton-conductive organic polymer binder is formulated by weight W<SB>P</SB>, and a weight ratio (W<SB>P</SB>/W<SB>SA+SiO2</SB>) is 0.5 to 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
