PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for removing the catch of a fishhook by the bottom in order to safely and readily remove the catch of the fishhook by the bottom in fishing. SOLUTION: This tool 3 for removing the catch by the bottom equipped with a line threading hole 4 having a slit 5 is secured to the end of a gripping part 2 fixed to a rod butt of a fishing rod 1. As another method, a V-shaped groove is provided in place of the line threading hole 4.
