PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking-type tending machine excellent in slewing operability enabling a desired slewing state to simply be realized though a working machine also serving as driving wheels is attached to an output shaft located in the lower part of a transmission case. SOLUTION: In a walking-type tending machine where power from an engine 1 is transmitted to a horizontal output shaft 8 through a vertical transmission shaft 6 and a bevel gear-type transmission mechanism 7 both housed inside a transmission case 2 attached to the lower part of the engine 1, the output shaft 8 is so assembled that it has a halved structure composed of a left output shaft part 8A and a right output shaft part 8B and a side clutch mechanism 22 is placed between the mechanism 7 and the shaft 8 so as for both left and right shaft parts 8A, 8B to be able to independently be driven.
