PURPOSE: An air bag igniting current diagnosing circuit of a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to easily diagnose whether ignition current necessary for unfolding the air bag is sufficiently supplied to an inflator. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosing air bag igniting current includes the steps of determining whether an input signal of the moment going over a threshold is caught when unfolding the air bag(S3), operating trouble record and alarm if 5ms is passed in the state that the input signal is not caught(S5), determining input signal of the moment going down the threshold is caught when catching the input signal(S7), calculating current flow time that subtracting falling time from rising time and recording normal operation if the current flow time is more than 2ms when catching the input signal(S8), and unfolding the air bag when 5ms passes after recording the normal operation.
