PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium, a data recording method of a rewritable phase transition type optical disk and a data erasing method of a rewritable compact disk, which are easily manufactured and having little possibility of destruction or alternation of ROM data, in the optical information recording medium provided with the reproduction only area and the rewritable area in the information recording area while arranging the phase transition type recording layer on a substrate. SOLUTION: This data recording method by which the data are recorded on the writable area of the optical information recording medium having the reproduction only area and the writable area on the information recording area while arranging the phase transition type recording layer on the substrate, comprizes the transfer step for transferring program data to an external computer, which are recorded on the reproduction only area with the executable form, and the execution step (step A10) for automatically executing the program data by the external computer to record the data on the writable area.
