PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent surface oxidation of waste liquor stored in a tank for temporarily storing the waste liquor from Shochu (Japanese spirits distilled from sweet potatoes, rice, etc.), and reduce diffusion of a bad odor to the outside of the tank. SOLUTION: Inside a tank body 2, there is provided a float 3 which moves up and down while following a level of a top surface of the waste liquor S from the Shochu so as to cover the top surface of the waste liquor S. An upper part of the tank body 2 is provided with an exhaust system 4 which is equipped with a layer K filled with activated carbon, a water sprinkling pipe 42 for cleaning the activated carbon, and a warm-air feed pipe 44 for drying.
