PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable housing box in which an engaging projection of a disengageable corner member does not cause an obstruction when folding the housing box, and does not narrow an opening portion of the box. SOLUTION: In this foldable housing box, the bending position of a hinge formed with a folding frame body is set so that a side wall served as an outer wall is positioned higher than a side wall served as an inner wall by the length larger than the thickness of the side wall, an engaging receiver composing the corner member is provided with an engaging hole portion at a side portion abutting on an adjacent outer side wall, an inside surface crossing the hole portion at a right angle is provided with a recessed portion through a holding wall composing the side portion, and the engaging projection is provided with a projection projecting inwardly orthogonally from the side wall fixed with the engaging projection and enabling the fitting to the hole portion and a locking portion sliding and rushing into the recessed portion by being urged so as to be restored along the side wall to lock the holding wall.
