PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber bundle having excellent abrasion-resistance, converting property, openability and spreading performance, suitable for producing one directional thin prepreg with 30-100 g/m<SP>2</SP>of carbon fiber weight. SOLUTION: The carbon fiber bundle is a substantially twist free sized carbon fiber bundle and has 10-20 cm of a drape value D<SB>25</SB>at 25°C and 0.3-0.7 of D<SB>80</SB>/D<SB>25</SB>ratio of the drape value with the drape value D<SB>80</SB>at 80°C and the thickness of 20-150 tex/mm.
